About Judy Converse, MPH RD LD

Your child deserves a credentialed, licensed professional when it comes to health and nutrition

Judy has been a registered dietitian since 1989. She is licensed with the Massachusetts Board of Dietitians and Nutritionists to practice nutrition. She has a master's degree in public health nutrition from the University of Hawaii, and a bachelor's degree in food science and human nutrition from the University of Vermont. She began biomedical treatment for autism trainings in 1999, and has been a presenter at conferences for the Autism Research Institute, Autism One, and US Autism and Aspergers' Association. Prior to setting up her practice, Judy worked as a research technician, nutrition educator, grant writer, and outpatient dietitian. She has authored three books and the first web-interface accredited learning module for health care providers on nutrition and autism. She has testified before state and federal lawmakers for safer vaccines, consulted with industry partners on specialized formulas for infants and children with inflammatory conditions, and partners with non-profits and hospitals serving children with special needs. A pioneer in her field, Judy is a sought-after speaker on infant and child nutrition, growth and feeding concerns, and the potential of nutrition tools for children with autism.

About This Practice: Nutrition Care For Children LLC

Start now with nutrition tools to help your child with autism, adhd, allergies, and more

Children with autism, food allergies, growth and feeding problems, developmental delay, or learning, mood, and behavior problems often have undiagnosed nutrition problems. These have a powerful influence on the brain and whole body, especially during infancy and childhood. Nutrition Care For Children LLC (NCFC) was created in response to this need. As a new mom in 1996, Judy Converse was already an experienced registered dietitian. But she found that her pediatric providers did not have effective solutions for her own baby's problems with feeding, growth, allergy, and development. Judy began NCFC in 1999 to serve other families with these problems, and has since helped infants, toddlers, children, teens and young adults enjoy the benefits of targeted, evidence-based, professionally monitored nutrition care. If you have felt frustrated or unsuccessful with strategies for growth, allergy, developmental, or feeding issues, or with a psychiatric provider for learning, mood, or behavior problems, Nutrition Care For Children may help. Identify and treat nutrition problems, tap regular monitoring as often as you like, get support with meal plans, and shape a supplement protocol best suited to your child. Judy can also help identify appropriate lab studies for your child and can coordinate with your child's other providers.
